Biography:

Dr. Dallas Ortiz is an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at American International College. She brings over a decade of experience in psychology and clinical practice, combining academic expertise with hands-on work in mental health settings.

Dr. Ortiz earned her Ed.D. in Mental Health Counseling, M.A. in Clinical Psychology, and B.S. in Psychology and Criminal Justice, all from American International College. She works full-time as a clinician in a private practice in Connecticut and provides fee-for-service clinical work at an agency in Massachusetts. Her clinical focus includes supporting individuals with adjustment disorders, mood disorders, relationships and family challenges, generalized anxiety, and depression.

Her experience as both a practitioner and educator allows her to integrate real-world clinical perspectives into her courses, helping students bridge theory and applied practice. Through her teaching, she supports graduate students pursuing careers in mental health, counseling, and related fields.
