Biography:
Dr. Francheska Flores Rivera has worked in education since 2014, serving in a variety of roles including parent liaison, principal clerk, and data clerk before becoming a licensed school psychologist. For the past six years, she has supported students, families, and school teams in both Massachusetts and Texas.
Currently, Dr. Flores works for Fort Bend Independent School District as a school psychologist, where she provides counseling as a related service for middle school students (grades 6–8). She conducts full and individual evaluations for students across all grade levels and also supports future professionals through case management and mentoring for the district’s yearly intern cohort.
Dr. Flores is passionate about student mental health, building strong partnerships between families and schools, and using data to inform meaningful interventions. She brings a real-world school psychology perspective to her teaching at AIC, where she aims to share practical insights with students.
Outside of work, Dr. Flores enjoys reading in her spare time, going for bike rides, and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
