Hi! I’m Francheska Flores Rivera, Ed.D., or Dr. Flores for short, and I’ve been working in education since 2014. Over the years, I’ve served in a variety of roles—including Parent Liaison, Principal Clerk and Data Clerk—before becoming a licensed School Psychologist. For the past six years, I’ve supported students, families, and school teams in both Massachusetts and Texas.

Currently, I work for Fort Bend Independent School District as a School Psychologist, where I provide counseling as a related service for middle school students (grades 6–8). I also conduct full and individual evaluations for students across all grade levels and help support the development of future professionals through case management and mentoring for our yearly intern cohort.

I’m passionate about student mental health, building strong school-family partnerships, and using data to inform meaningful interventions. I’m so excited to share what I’ve learned with you in this course! When I’m not working, you can usually find me reading my newest addition to my kindle, going for bike rides around the neighborhood, or attempting a new recipe in the kitchen!
