MSN.RN earned her associate degree in nursing at Springfield Technical Community College, Springfield, MA, her bachelor’s degree in nursing from American International College Springfield, MA and a master’s degree in nursing at Saint Joseph University, West Harford, CT. in family health nursing, with a focus on homeless and at-risk families in teen parenting circumstances. She has nearly 50 years of experience as a practicing nurse, inclusive of 40 years as a nurse educator and practicing clinician. Her areas of expertise include critical care, ambulatory, maternal/newborn and as well as extensive years combining specialties in nursing management roles. She spent several years as faculty as well as the Academic Dean/Director of nursing at Springfield Technical Community College, Springfield, MA

She transitioned to the RN/BSN coordinator at American International College, Springfield MA in 2015. She continues to teach in the undergraduate BSN and Master’s Program as well as coordinating and teaching in the asynchronous RN to BSN program. She holds active memberships in Beta Zeta at Large of Sigma Theta Tau International MARLIN, Massachusetts Rhode Island League for Nursing, and National League for Nursing. She has had several professional abstracts accepted and has presented nationally, regionally and locally on numerous topics, across the nursing education spectrum. She is licensed to practice nursing in MA and CT.
