Biography:

Dr. Sesooter Ikpah earned his Psy.D. in Counseling Psychology from Springfield College and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from American International College. As a former AIC graduate, he returns to the institution as adjunct faculty with extensive clinical experience. His professional background spans academic medical centers, community mental health, substance abuse services, and private practice, where he has worked with diverse populations across the lifespan.

Dr. Ikpah has presented at regional and national conferences and contributed a chapter to The Psychology of Inequity. His clinical research interests include prevention and resiliency factors, social justice and multicultural competence, racial inequity within systems, health psychology, and behavioral health practices in under-resourced communities.
